Goal Industries background

1987

Goal Industries began operations in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, dedicated to recycle and recover ferrous and non ferrous scrap.

1989

We migrated operations to Mexico City consolidating a managerial entrepreneur industrial stage.

1999

Between 1999 and 2002, we began smelting and laminating copper, zinc and aluminum, on plant at Xalostoc, Mexico.

2006

We expanded our market to Jalisco Mexico strategically located near pacific coast combining managerial experience with a vision and institutional strategy.

2007

We began to trade and export on the international market from Mexico.

2011

Considering the U.S.A. as one of the main markets we began operations setting up our HQ in San Antonio Texas under Goal Industries Inc. We started trading and brokering internationally and setting up strategic reception scrap yards in Monterrey, Leon and San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

2013

We purchased 7.5 acres south of San Antonio Texas, forecasting a 5 year investment plan. We merged on a strategic alliance in El Salto Jalisco Mexico, accessing a 3 acre yard and extending our market to aluminum deox and smelting, duplicating both installed capacities and creating an important group synergy.

2014

We certified ISO 9000:2008, and based our first steps on USA land creating Goal Recycling Services LLC as part of a holding group. We began trading Europe and South America and consolidated our presence in Mexico.

2015

Certified AQSIQ for direct exports to China.

2016

Recognized by the SBDC (Small Business Development Center) UTSA as a success case for new development company. We grew our copper smelting capacity for our El Salto Jalisco Mexico Plant.

2017

We consolidated around 40% in profitability, all re-invested on assets and human capital. We reinforced our strategic alliances growing our customer base and market share.

2018

We re-organized our company structure and strategy:
-More Human Resource / Task re-structure
-Processes Reengineering
-New “tailor made” software
-Switched San Antonio investment to Houston scrap yard opening
-Harbor Aluminum members, global industry leader in market intelligence.
